Where equipment leasing fits.
- You're acquiring, replacing, or already own business equipment
- You'd rather preserve cash than pay a large down payment
- The equipment itself has real resale or collateral value
- A potential Section 179 deduction would be useful to your business
Straight answers.
Is this a lease or a loan?+
It can be structured either way depending on the lender and your goals: a true lease, an equipment finance agreement, or a secured loan. We'll walk you through the difference and recommend what fits your plans for the equipment.
Can I finance used equipment?+
Yes. Well-maintained used equipment is financeable, though age, condition, and remaining useful life can affect terms and which lenders will consider the file.
What if I already own the equipment outright?+
That's a sale-leaseback: you sell the equipment to the lender and lease it back, unlocking the capital tied up in it while continuing to use the equipment as normal.
Is there a tax benefit?+
Equipment financing may qualify for a Section 179 deduction in the year the equipment is placed in service. Creative-Fi does not provide tax advice. Confirm any treatment with your own accountant.
What industries do you finance?+
All of them. Construction, medical and dental, manufacturing, transportation, restaurants, technology, and more. If it's used in your business, it's likely financeable.
